San Diego City College Design is offering a concurrent enrollment program for high school students interested in pursuing design. Through the program, students are able to take college-level design courses, giving them a head start in their careers. I was tasked with designing marketing deliverables, a diploma, and swag for the program.

Throughout the duration of the internship, I participated in weekly meetings with art directors to share my progress, receive feedback, and brainstorm ideas. In addition to weekly meetings, I also presented my work in front of major stakeholders, like the high school outreach coordinator.

Primary outreach for the program was done through marketing postcards which were printed and given to local high schools. When designing the postcards, the goal was to emphasize the program giving students the opportunity to get ahead in their careers, keeping in mind that the target audience were both students and their parents.

Deliverables for the project included swag for the students, such as lanyards, water bottles, and USB drives. I also designed a diploma that students would receive once they completed the program, a webpage, and Instagram stories.
